Model NO. Tantalum wire
Grade: Ta1 Ta2
Production Capacity 6000kgs/month
Tantalum wire is a specialty material made of high-purity metallic tantalum and has extremely high corrosion resistance, making it suitable for use in highly corrosive environments. It is widely used in the aerospace, military, medical, and electronics industries and can be processed into various forms, such as filaments, strands, threads, and strips.

Tantalum wire is formed through a cold drawing process which requires special tools and processes. The raw materials are first heated to an appropriate temperature, generally between 20-50°C, then pulled through a die, resulting in a wire of uniform cross-section and overall diameter. This process is repeated until the desired diameter is achieved. The tantalum wire is then cooled by either air-cooling or quenching in a fluid bath. This process is usually repeated multiple times to create a wire with consistent properties.

Other tantalum-related products
Tantalum plate sheet, tantalum bar rods,
Tantalum rods and plates are two kinds of commonly used tantalum products in industrial applications.

Tantalum plates are ideal for making furnace components, so they are widely used in high-temperature equipment. Generally, it is made of tantalum ingots through hot rolling. Tantalum plates are known for their wear resistance, high-temperature resistance, and corrosion resistance.

Tantalum rods are used for making furnace parts due to their excellent corrosion resistance. It is also widely used in semiconductor assembly and electronic packaging and other electronic fields. Tantalum rodding provides good corrosion resistance for devices that need to be in high-temperature or corrosive environments.
The processing technology of tantalum rods and plates is mainly hot rolling, cold rolling, and forging. Hot rolling can form the shape and size of the product, and it can also eliminate internal stress. Cold rolling can better process the products for use in the electrical industry, aerospace industry, and medical industry. Forging can be used to produce finished products with complex shapes.
